20 Minute Appointment

Our volunteers will spend up to 20 minutes attempting to fix your item(s).

Depending on how busy the event is, attendees will have a maximum of one item looked at. If there isn’t another attendee waiting, the volunteer can choose to look at multiple items.

Whenever possible, attendees are encouraged to do the repair with the guidance of the volunteer.

The volunteers do not guarantee that they will be able to fix your item and aren’t obligated to reassemble items that can’t be fixed.

Volunteers can refuse to work on an item for any reason. Examples include the item being unsafe, unclean, out of their skill set, too large or heavy or no parts available.

Attendees must take all items, fixed and unfixed, with them when they leave.

Neither the volunteer fixers nor the event organizers can be held liable for losses resulting from the repair, any advice given or any other losses as a result of the work performed at the event.

All repairs are free, but we do appreciate donations to help cover the cost of supplies and volunteer refreshments.

Repair Cafes are free events where your community members can bring their broken items and have them repaired by volunteers. This Repair Cafe is a one-day pop-up event at the North Battleford Public Library on Saturday February 8th, 2025.

I just wanted to send a big thank you to the team at Repair Coffee shop in North Battleford for fixing my pants Also, a special thanks to the person who helped hem my pants—you really made my day!

My large table lamp that is part of a set of three in my living room posed a challenge to fix. With me having changed a bottom bulb of the two bulbs (top and bottom), I managed to unscrew every section of the lamp and then, of course, couldn't get it back together properly. I was delighted to hear that the Repair Cafe could try and fix it for me and get it back together. I'm sure it was a task for the repairman but he persevered and my lamp is fixed! I am beyond happy that my set of two table lamps, and a floor lamp is again complete and lighting brightly in my living room.
The Repair Cafe is a wonderful way to encourage people to fix what can be fixed and a lovely way to see how it can be done and chat with clever people who are the 'Repair Cafe'
